"IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO BE WHAT YOU MIGHT HAVE BEEN" - GEORGE ELIOT
As a clinical social worker and psychotherapist, I have an eclectic approach to treatment. I help you examine your life experience holistically using a variety of interventions to help you identify and overcome barriers.
I believe that life is filled with sorrow and happiness, regret and fear, disappointment and laughter – and everything in between. I walk beside you in treatment, hold you up to see yourself and your environment, support you in your endeavors, and cheer you on towards wellness.
My therapeutic approach and compassion are rooted in my work with the homeless population, foster youth, the severe and persistently mental ill, and survivors of rape, domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. After receiving a Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California with a concentration in mental health, I practiced in the Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay Area.
I am currently providing services in the East Bay, Lamorinda Area (Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga and surrounding communities).
Therapy is an invitation into your life experience. I am honored to be part of the process.
